But, the entities that vanish with a long-lasting effect are those that end up with some achievements, as success is something that is unforgettable and appreciable.

Hello champs!

As all of us are well tuned in, it has been around two years that one of the most acclaimed series at its time, The Wire TV Show has ceased out. However, the hook of fanatics for the show has not wind up with its knocked off. The interest of viewers for their much loved show is still unbelievable. If you are one of the luckiest viewers who watch The Wire episodes then trust me you are being dished with true combo of real and underworld.

The Wire is a drama that focuses on various green thumbs of the city of Baltimore. The show whips out realistic transcription of city life, canonical ambitions, and sporadically deep exploration of sociopolitical themes. I love the show coz it entraps you with its absorbing plot and keeps you in readiness to crack the next hard nut. I think there would be hardly any episode that I have not watched.

Speaking about the astounding episodes of the season five of the show, the one that is still alive in my thoughts is “The Dickensian Aspect”. It was aired on Feb 10, 2008. The episode began with Omar, who hides and keeps an eye over his injured leg throughout the night. Though he is injured but he continues with his game of robbing the Stanfield organization.

Meanwhile, the cops find the sealed legal documents at Stewart’s place and reveals that some leak has been taken place. On the other side, Freamon signs up the responsibility of wiretapping to Leander Sydnor. Hence he explores that Stanfield is making contact with picture messages. To give possible reason for picture intercepts, McNulty grabs and photographs a homeless man.

The moment that makes Templeton’s day includes appreciation given by his superiors for his follow-up story about a homeless Iraq veteran. As usually Bunk stays frustrated with McNulty’s idea and proceeds by working on his old cases in the traditional way. In the last interlude, I really got touch by awakening speech of Carcetti about the serial killer and her decision to spin homelessness into a core campaign issue was also very impressive.

Idris Elba, who is famous for his role in The Wire, has started showing Zombie like symptoms. Don’t you believe me? Just go through this blog post and you will come to know what I exactly mean.

37 year old, Idris has been working incredibly hard and ultimately he’s on the top of success. Well, I think he really deserves to be where he is now. These days he is enjoying his stardom and getting ready to stun all the movie lovers in the next year.

Didn’t get me….hey, there’s no need to get confused. I’ll elucidate myself in a profound way.

Idris is at the peak of stardom as the man has appeared in two super hit movies: “The Unborn” (a blood cuddling supernatural horror thriller) and “Obsessed” this year.  Both of these movies did an extremely great job on the box office.  Besides these two movies, he has also appeared in the famous TV series, “The Office”. All these appearances were widely appreciated all around the globe, especially “The Unborn”. The movie was really a great piece of entertainment. I had also watched this movie. While I was watching it, I was actually petrified, as it appears to be so real. Anyways, let’s talk about Idris in the movie. He had played the role of Arthur Wyndhamy in this frightening movie.

Well, I can’t exactly say about “Obsessed”, but as far as reviews are concerned, it seems as if this movie also did a fantastic business. This year was a nice period for this versatile actor. Even though, Idris doesn’t seem to be satisfied with his achievements so will make appearances in few more upcoming movies. The movies are: “Takers”, “Legacy” and “The Losers”.

I hope now you all would have got why I mentioned that he is showing zombie like symptoms. It was so coz he is yet not satisfied with what he has got and striving to get more and more like zombies do.

How come the dramas and movies centered on underworld become so successful? Examples are in front of us, The Sopranos and The Wire. Both the TV series has secured a sound place in the hearts of fans and got good ratings as well. In real life, we detest criminals and a person with criminal background can never have a good standing in society. Strange but true…. Crime based shows do wonders on TV screens.

Anyways, today, I am here to talk about The Wire, one of my favorite TV shows aired on HBO network. The show ran for five successful seasons. The fifth season of the series was commenced off on January 6, 2008 and it came to an end on March 9, 2008. It was consisted of 10 episodes. HBO network announced the fifth season of The Wire on September 12, 2006. It was said that the season would have 13 episodes but later the no. was reduced to ten. The production of fifth season began on April 30, 2007. Before the official commencement of the fifth season, a preview hit the TV screens on October 28, 2007. Later, the Youtube viewers also enjoyed it.

The long wait comes to an end when ‘More with Less’, the season opener, was aired. Penned by David Simon and Ed Burns, it was very entertaining episode. Following it was the episode entitled ‘Unconfirmed Reports’. Next we saw ‘Not for Attribution’. Then was ‘Transitions’. The viewers caught ‘React Quotes’ on February 3, 2008. The next episodes in row were ‘The Dickensian Aspect’, ‘Took’, ‘Clarifications’ and ‘Late Editions’. The series finale was entitled ‘-30-‘ and it was aired on March 9, 2008.

Five seasons of such an entertaining series were never enough for the fans. We hoped for more episodes of the show but the HBO Network decided not to bring the show back to TV with sixth season. Nowadays, the rumor mill is predicting that The Wire may return in form of a movie. Let’s see, my fingers are crossed.
